Which fields are supported?

What is written to IPFS?
The JSON contains name, symbol, description, category, and image. Optional fields include website, external_url, twitter, telegram, and banner. For MP4 launches, image points to the generated preview and animation_url points to the video.
category is the token’s tech or meme category. properties.category is a separate media field with image or video; properties.files records the media URI and MIME type. Media references use ipfs:// addresses.
Can metadata be edited or lost?
The mint stores the IPFS URI and has no metadata update authority. Changing the JSON would produce a different content identifier, so the document referenced by the mint cannot be silently replaced through a normal metadata update.
An IPFS content identifier does not guarantee hosting. Availability depends on pinned copies and working gateways. The current service keeps a hosted copy; it does not promise permanent storage or automatic off-site replication.
Tokens created before the metadata-enabled launch path retain their original server-side display metadata. They are not automatically upgraded to the new on-chain metadata extension.
Why can an upload expire?
An upload authorization lasts five minutes and can be used once. The resulting launch draft belongs to the signing wallet and lasts one hour. These authorizations and drafts are held in memory, so restarting the service requires a fresh upload flow. Already pinned files are separate from the draft.
